2017-09-30 Clean Up action in Gardabani Municipality

On September 15, in the framework of "Clean up the World" campaign was carried out clean up action in Gardabani municipality.

During the action were cleaned up 2 ha area, and around 1 m3 of waste was collected. Event has been attended by 40 volunteers.

The Campaign "Clean up the World" was organized within the framework of the project - "Clean Up Georgia" (Phase III), implemented by NGO Consortium - " The Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth Georgia", Georgian Society of Nature Explorers “Orchis, “Ecological Awareness and Waste Management”, with financial support of the Government of Sweden and in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia.

2017-09-30 Clean Up action in Ambrolauri Municipality

On September 15, in the framework of "Clean up the World" campaign was carried out clean up action in Ambrolauy municipality.

During the action were cleaned up 4 ha area, and around 3 m3 of waste was collected. Event has been attended by 60 volunteers.

The Campaign "Clean up the World" was organized within the framework of the project - "Clean Up Georgia" (Phase III), implemented by NGO Consortium - " The Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth Georgia", Georgian Society of Nature Explorers “Orchis, “Ecological Awareness and Waste Management”, with financial support of the Government of Sweden and in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia.


2017-09-30 Clean Up action in Oni Municipality

On September 15, in the framework of "Clean up the World" campaign was carried out clean up action in Oni municipality, organized by the local coordinator of the Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth – Georgia, with support of Oni Gamgeoba, which was attended by Gamgeoba representatives and local residents

2017-09-30 Clean Up action in Khoni Municipality

On September 15, in the framework of "Clean up the World" campaign was carried out clean up action in Kutaisi ,organized by the local coordinator of the Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth – Georgia.
During the action were cleaned up neighborhoods of the central hospital, market and bus station areas. About 1ha area has been cleaned up and around 3 m3 of waste was collected. Event has been attended by 120 volunteers.

2017-09-28 Training of Chemistry Laboratory Staff and Relevant Students of Mtskheta Municipality Public Schools

On September 25, 2017, EAWM conducted a training of chemistry laboratory staff and relevant students entitled “Registration, Safe Handling, Warehousing, Laboratory Usage, Utilization and Transportation of Chemical Substances and Waste in Educational Establishments" in Mtskheta. The training was held the framework of the “Clean Up Georgia – Phase III” Project.

2017-09-25 "Clean Up the World - Clean Up Georgia!"

In the framework of international clean-up campaign "Clean up the World" in Georgia, large-scale clean-up activities were carried out in Samegrelo- Upper Svaneti region. The event was organized by the local coordinator of the Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth-Georgia, with support of local governing bodies.
September 15 - in "Clean Up the World " campaign were involved all villages of Zugdidi municipality, with participation of local population. As part of the action 48 territorial centers of the villages, Anaklia - Ganmukhuri coastline, Gulua park, central alley, botanical garden, Chkhou river bank, 1200 homestead yards of local residents were cleaned up, a total of 123 ha area. Around 107 m3 of waste was collected with participation of 2550 local residents.


2017-09-25 "Clean up the World" Campaign in Guria

In the days of international clean-up campaign "Clean up the World" in Georgia, large-scale clean-up activities were carried out in all three municipalities (Lanchkhuti, Chokhatauri and Ozurgeti) of the Guria district, where officials from the governing bodies, the education system and various institutions participated together with local residents. These events were organized by local government and self-government bodies, the project group "Clean Up Georgia" (Phase III) and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia.

Ozurgeti
September 14 - The action was carried out by representatives of Gamgeoba of Ozurgeti Municipality , the Council, public officials, municipal administrative units and representatives of N(N)LEs.
The residents of the following villages also took part in the action: Shemokmedi, Vakijvari, borough Naruja, borough Laituri, Natanebi, Jumati, Likhauri, Silauri,Shroma and Dzimiti. A total of 395 people took part in the action, 13.5 ha area has been cleaned up and 21,5 m3 of waste was collected


2017-09-25 Clean Up Action in Bagdati

On September 15, "Clean up the World" campaign was celebrated with large-scale cleanup actions in Bagdadi municipality,organized by the local coordinator of the Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth – Georgia.

The clean up actions were held in borough Bagdati and in the following villages : The first Obcha, Vartsikhe, Upper Dimi and Nergeti. Totally, 3ha area was cleaned up and 5m3 of waste was collected . The event was attended by 300 volunteers.


2017-09-24 “Clean Up the World” Campaign in Poti

On September 15, in the framework of "Clean up the World" campaign a cleanup action was carried out in Poti ,organized by the local coordinator of the Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth – Georgia and with support of local government.

During the action was cleaned up Poti Port area, with participation of City Municipality and Port employees, as well as candidates for the deputies. About 1,5 ha area has been cleaned up and around 3 m3 of waste was collected. Event has been attended by 50 volunteers.
