Clean up action in Lanchkhuti municipality  On 18 January in the framework of Clean-up Georgia campaign a clean up action was carried out in Chibati village of Lanchkhuti municipality. 160 schoolchildren of Chibati Public School, members of Eco-club and 15 teachers participated in the action. During the action the school yard and about 1 hectare of its adjacent territory was cleaned up from different types of wastes, polyethylene bottles and bags; in total 5 cubic meters of waste was collected and disposed of at the operational landfill by communal service.

Clean-up Action in the Village of Amagleba (Vani Municipality)  On December 20, 2011, a clean-up action was held in Vani Municipality of the village of Amagleba, in which 50 people participated (local population, authorized representative of the village, and local youth organization). 600 m² were cleaned and 4 m³ of wastes were collected. The wastes were transported to a landfill by Vani Municipality.

Placing an information banner about the "Clean-up Georgia" campaign and a clean-up action in the city of Mtskheta
 On 16 December 2011 in the city of Mtskheta there was placed an information banner on the Bebris Tsikhe adjacent territory in the framework of “Clean-up Georgia” campaign and a clean-up action was arranged. Students who are the members of different youth organizations and schoolchildren and teachers of public schools N1 and 2 – 35 people in total - participated in the action. During the action the adjacent 1, 5 hectare territory of Bebris Tsikhe was cleaned from polyethylene bottles and bags and 1 cubic meter of waste was collected which later was disposed on the existing landfill by the municipal services.

Planting of Greenery in Terjola Municipality
 On 20 November 2011 and 14 December in the framework of “clean-up Georgia” campaign in the village of Ghvenkiti of Terjola municipality on the adjacent protected territory of Deda Ghvtisa (Saint Virgin) Church comprising about 1 hectare there was carried out a planting of greenery action. 15 local people participated in the action and planted 50 trees of cypress and 45 tress of pine.
